Screen Sometimes Twitches

My thinkpad screen sometimes twitches when I adjust the screen by moving or it sometimes randomly does it. Sometimes it may black out. But I put it to sleep than wake it up again and it is fine. It is not too annoying. Do you think it is normal? I'm guessing the ribbon is bent, So it is sensitive.
 
i would make a similar guess, although if it goes totally out it may be a loose power connector or something of that nature.
 
Sometimes it turns off. But, I press the button that changes between the laptop's screen and the external and it is fine. But, It is no big deal.
 
i don't really think it's an issue with any software causing it to flicker i think its something with the physical connection between the monitor on the laptop and the base of the laptop.

In short, he's saying that you have a problem with a wire that goes between the base part and your screen. It's broken or loose somewhere.
 
I was researching online and found out that it is a common problem in this model. Sometimes it won't do it for a few days and some days it just does it. It's very random. It's not too annoying. But, If it starts getting worse I will research it more.
