Screensaver (*.scr) File Association Lost

I've searched everywhere for help on this for months...

Almost a year ago I installed Solid Works on my PC which changed the *.scr association from a screensaver file to a Solid Works file. I would like to be able to assign a hotkey on my keyboard to launch my screensaver but since the uninstall of Solid Works the *.scr files just bring up the "open with what program" dialouge. The screensaver will still launch through the normal timeout method, but I like to use the screensaver to lock my PC when I leave it.

Has anybody else encountered this problem?

Anyone know what the change the *.scr association to?

Also, if anyone knows how to run the screensaver in Java or C that would work too.

Thanks for the advice but in my searches today I actually found that site and was just coming back on here to post that it didn't work. Yes, I did restart.

Looking at the registry fix for the *.scr association it looks like it's trying to open *.scr files with C:/program files/microsoft visual studio/common/ide/ide98/devenv.exe which I do not have. So now I guess my question is, does the devenv.exe file run *.scr files and why don't I have it?

Thanks.
