Script Error? How do I stop this???

For some months now I have been getting a message while looking at my email using internet explorer.
It pops up and stops things repeatedly and states:

Script Error
Line 18
Character 399
Object Expected
Error Code 0

It stops my computer from working and I have to answer yes or no to continue but I may have to do that 20 times or more.
How to I stop this??

Stop using Internet Explorer? It's a terrible browser anymore. What operating system are you using? Have you tried resetting IE?
