All of a sudden my computer seems a bit slower but the main thing is that when i scroll on a web page or anything else that requires you to scroll up or down it doesnt just scroll like it normally does, it scrolls in like block sections. like in waves kind of, i'm sorry its hard to explain but hopefully someone knows what im talking about. Do i have a virus or what? whats wrong? I ran a virus scan but nothing showed up, i'm using AVAST antivirus.

I'v Had this happen to me a couple of times as well...Do u have the drivers of ur video card installed...cuz when i first put in a new graphics card and go on the web without installing the drivers that usally happes

^what Scheme said would be my first bet.

Are your other applications acting like this too? Is your system taking longer to boot up or doing unexpected things? If not, then probably not a virus.

Hey help me build my computer O=

I have my video drivers installed and i have had them installed for months and just all of a sudden this has started happening so i dont think its that but i dont know. It does it to pretty much everything that you scroll in. I dont think its taking longer to load anything really maybe a lil bit but not really noticeable if it is.

Any recent hardware additions or installed programs then? If so, maybe something isn't playing well with the rest of the system. By scrolling, do you mean an actual scroll wheel on the mouse, or does it happen even if you use the web page's up/down arrows on the side?

Is the problem limited to websites? If you open up a Word file, does it still do it?

Alright it was an easy fix, i went to device manager and checked it and there was a problem saying it couldn't start so i uninstalled it and reinstalled the drivers and now it works just like its supposed to. I was worried i had a virus for a while:P

Glad it's working:)

Now the bigger question...you mentioned earlier that you had them installed for months, so why did the *stop* working?

Nothing to freak out over, but maybe try going to the manufacturer's website and see if they have a Forums area. If so, maybe post up and see if anyone has had a problem with theirs.
