SCSI Boot issue

I have a windows XP machine that keeps restarting after the splash screen and as it is loading settings. This problem just occured last week and the machine had been running fine up to that point.

I get a SCSI Boot Device SCSI Not Found and SCSI bios not found.

I can't get to safe mode to check the drives or update drivers so not sure what to do. I ran repair from booting the XP Cd which didn't fix the issue.

Any advice is much appreciated

You most likely have a faulty hard drive or errors on the drive itself. What brand of hard drive do you have? You would need to download the hard drive manufacturer's disk diagnostic program and make a bootable cd for it and run the extended test on the drive.
