SCSI - Worth it?

I'm thinking of buying a 15k Fujitsu SCSI drive (I'd also need a damned PCI adaptec) and I currently run a 10k 74.3GB Raptor.

Loading times and virtual memory wise - will I see a.. noticable difference? Also, how hot do those babies get!? I am running Arctic Cooling in a P180 and cooling isn't an issue.. currently!

Thoughts? Any comments are MUCH appreciated.

The real benefit to SCSI comes in high load situations such as servers. I don't think you'll ever use it to potential in a desktop.

For a regular computer, it is not worth it, unless you have an insanely high budget, very high capacity/RAID needs, or stuff like that. I would say no.

I seriously doubt it, like others said. You probably wouldn't notice much of a difference between some high end SCSI drive and say a Western Digital Raptor. I know I can't tell much of a difference between my previous RAID(dual 36G Raptor's) and my current 160G Western Digital drive...
