SD Memory Chip

Are there any known problems with transferring an app into the chip, e.g. deactivating the app, or something worse?

Are you talking about moving a Mac Program.app/ folder to a SD card and running the program? I don't have a Mac, but I don't think it would deactivate the app or anything if you just tried it. I think you can just drag the app over into another disk, just try it and see if it works.

Thank you for your responses

Not trying to get rid of an app, but to build up internal phone storage space.
And I'm not talking about a MAC Program App (btw I have an Android smartphone). My concern was the app deactivating after placing it on the SD memory chip.

After testing and trying, I see that the chip works very well (like a floppy disk). I do this to free up space for internal phone storage to allow downloading more apps.

The touch screen is very good on the phone (but not 100%). This is a new technology to me which I'm getting used to.

Thank you again.

Ohh! Lol, I actually googled [as best I could] your problem, and I saw an article on how to transfer apps to an SD card on "Froyo" Android. :D And you're welcome

A few apps might have issues with moving to SD and any widgets that are a part of any app moved to SD will stop working. It's easy to move an app back to phone storage though so there isn't really any risk.
