Seagate Cheetah... 15,000 RPM!!!

My thoughts are you meant to say hard drive not processor and 15,000 RPM has been out for awhile. Strengths are it reads fast weaknesses are they cost too much.
 
I was just wondering what your thoughts on the harddrive were... I'm probably gonna get a raptor though.

Would the performance gain be that great?
 
the performance would be excellent but its a waste of money and greater chance of losing data, its the same thing when comparing a raptor and a 7200
 
processor, hahahaha!!!!!!! anyways...... wow... 15000 rpm... ima cut my finger off. i dont like seagate, thats all i can say. but i think u should wait for later models.

well ull prolly have a better chance of losing data, why not just get a raptor?

Because (a) you dont have a better chance of losing data and (b) the Cheetah is a superior drive on its own and can be RAIDed much better
