Search in XP

How many people use this search? ive never really used it and always spent ages looking for files ad folders and now that i use it its fantastic. dont know why i never used it! should have done a long time ago and it would have saved me hours! random thread really. have some time to kill

I use it all the time,especially when I'm trying to find songs from my mp3 folders.It works very good!

I use it all the time, I didn't like the Google Desktop so I just stuck with the default search utility.

Works fine for me, if a bit slow. 300,000+ files takes a long time to wade through...

Have you tried Google Desktop? It indexes all the computers files, and finds anything in an instant.

I never use it because I organize all my files by whatever means into seperate folders, so I know where everything generally is.

Windows search is kind of chunky, and if you turn on indexing it is a super resource hog. However, vista is suppose to fix that
