hello,

Is there a way to get the windows vista search on windows xp? I like how when you open the start menu, you have the thing at the bottom which is kinda like an active search if you know what I mean, is there a way to get that on xp?

Yes, Vista's Instant Search is very good. For XP, there's Windows Desktop Search which is supposed to "Add Vista-like search capabilities to Windows XP". I haven't personally used it so can't vouch for it. Here's an article on it though.

Thanks, but ViStart doesn't show up on my add/remove programs menu and it doesn't have an uninstaller either, do you have any help for that?

i've had problems with it also. You have to read the readme that came with it.
