search what?

alright, whenever I go to open up a folder, anywhere, I double click on it, and it opens up a search window. Now if I right click on the folder, search is bolded as the default action to do when opening folders. I have no idea what happened, and I didn't change anything. Anyone that can help is much appreciated!

open my computer> click on the tools> folder option> file types > choose "file folder" and click on advanced button.
what is the action for this folder?
