Second Harddrive Not Found

My laptop has two harddrives in it, and when I first got the laptop, I think both drives were visible from the My Computer page, now I only see one drive. The laptop had trouble starting up, it was scanning for something and mentioning an error, so I restarted, and booted up normally. But when I went into the Device Manager, I didn't see a Yellow Marker, but it showed me two harddrives.

Should I use my restore disk?

Thanks.

No recovery disk required. That's a typical problem where a drive will disappear in the MyComputer or Windows Explorer where you simply right click on the effected drive while in the DM and choose the uninstall option.

Upon restarting the system Windows will prompt with a new hardware found message after a fresh detection of the drive. You should see that reappear as a logical drive once Windows automatically reinstalls it's own drivers.
