hi, i've had the same router, modem, laptop and internet provider for last 5 or 6 years. since i have roommates we use mostly wireless network. 1,5 years ago my roommate secured the network. she moved out a while ago. this morning when i turned my computer on i noticed that my network is not secure anymore. instead of the old name we gave it, it figures as a 'default'. i did some digging and i found my old network on the list of networks in the area but it's not available so i can't switch to it. it's like my router produced a completely new wireless unsecured network, throwing the old one aside. as you probably noticed, i'm technologically challenged so i'd appreciate some explanation and possibly directions what to do in layman terms
