Seems my OC is affecting my music

I have done a fair overclock, as you can, and have raised the core to 1.375V (1 step up). Even since I first starting oc-ing this CPU, I have noticed that while listening to my music, it would occasionally jump a bit, or stutter a bit. This is becoming more frequent as the OC climbs.

I am yet to run 2 Prime95's side by side overnight, but am sure the system is close to completely stable. Nothing else is stuttering or crashing. So, what do you think's actually happening? Is the overclock affecting the communication beween the hard drive and rest of computer?

Memory is at 250MHz, but, well, it's rated to run at those speeds, and timings are set to Auto.
 
Nice rig :)

It may be better to set your ram timings manually in bios.
Are your chipset temps ok?........Using onboard sound?
Have you tried music with the O/C backed down a bit?

1) Tomorrow afternoon, I'll start manually setting the timings.
2) Chipset temp, is either 43 or 48 with SuperPI running. I've never been sure which temp is the chipset's. (As soon as I get verified on Payapl, I'm buying a copper forcetake chipset cooler from the US.)
3) Yup, I'm using onboard sound.
4) Haven't yet, no.

EDIT: Will reinstall sound drivers, as reading other posts has given me the impression that this is a software problem.

EDIT 2: Have installed most recent RealTek drivers, and manually set loose timings. Time will tell if it has actually worked, but the problem seems to have gone away. Hopefully, I won't have to return to this thread.

Going back to point 1. I've started getting the stuttering again. Surely, if I've got my memory on a Divider so it runs at or near 200MHz (right now, its at 200MHz), I shouldn't need to touch the timings to stop the stuttering.

It's just, when I loosen the timings too much, the comp won't boot. The meaning of the beep I get is 'memory module error'.
