selling laptop, recommended price?

hello everyone
i am looking to sell my current laptop, which is a dell inspiron 1525.
processor: Intel Pentium Dual CPU T 2390 @ 1.86 GHz 1.87 GHz
RAM 2gb
64 bit windows 7
i think its about 15 inches or so
hard drive 320 GB
it does have a webcam.
the only thing that does not work is the tray does not open (sometimes) by pressing the button, you have to go to my computer > eject.

can i get some recommendations as to what price to sell it for?

also, i want to buy myself an Asus U46E-BAL5 Refurbished for $549.99 and would like your opinion as well.

The computer you want to sell is extremely bad. You should sell it for $200, no more.

What are you going to be doing on the new laptop you want to buy?
 
correct, just wanted an opinion on the laptop as a general, i have never had an asus before...

any other opinions on the price for the laptop i will sell?

I haven't used that particular one but I have used their products and am currently using a NetBook by Asus and I love it, have also used a couple other devices from them, I don't think you can go wrong with that laptop.

Also, I would shoot for $150-200 for your old laptop
 
I would ask for $150-200 for the old lab top, but if someone looks interested tell them you will let it go for $100 if they have the cash.
