Sempron or Athlon

could u give me some advice about choices between athlon or sempron?!

comparable semprons and athlons get about the same benches tho but athlons go higher up the scale my sempron oced pretty well and it was $30 less than the athlon

I have a Sempron and its great imo.

Its an old one but does great for me.
But yeah if you can go the extra then get an athlon.

Ive heard Sempron 64s are quite good and overclock like beasts.

they have half the cache size,.. but im not sure if thats the only difference.

I was just get a low end Athlon. They are still better performers then a sempron for the same price. That is if you are not going really low-end.

i have a semrpon 64 3400 and it runs just as fast as the athlon 3000(i think thats the camparable one)but it runs cooler and ocs better

I think that a computer would have to be under a huge load to even begin to see the difference....

Do you mean the Sempron OC's better? If so, then you must have either gotten a good Sempron chip, or a bad Athlon chip, because the A64's are superior overclockers.
