semprons and S939

AMD has increased the amount and variety of Semprons on the market, including a 64-bit series and a s939 series.

Yes

The new versions of 64bit Semprons for Socket 754 have been released a short while ago. The S939 Semprons are supposed to come out shortly to compete with Celeron Ds (also 64bit). The Semprons will have a smaller cache but will basically be Athlon 64s stripped off some power.

JAN :D

that motherboard says it is a socket 939 and it will support a sempron CPU. how does that work when a sempron is a socket 754, 800mhz bus? i am assuming that if i put a sempron in there that dual channel would not work, but how would the bus work?
you should note that most off what newegg says is bollocks
the sempron on s939 are the 3000+, and 3200+ but i'm not sure if there out yet? Oh and also the 3400+ was supposed to be out soon. Anyone field whether they're released, if not when?

And yes the 939 semprons support dual channel.
