serious computer problem

i opened my computer case and touched the RAM and i may have statically discharged it because when i open my computer the processor fan spins but the power supply fan doesn't and windows xp doesn't even show in the monitor can any1 pls helpme? is the problem the power supply?

did it zap when you touched the ram? if so, then it's a good possibility you killed the ram..

remove the RAM and reinstall it
try different slots with different sticks.
