Server 2003 and Remote Web Workplace

I have a server running with Server 2003 installed. It sits behind a Draytk Vigor 2800 router.

If I access my server locally with "http://my.servers.lan.ip/remote", I can access the remote web interface without issue (red certificate error though?).

If I try to access the same using my external IP address or domain name, I get a time out error "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage".

I know the domain and IP are correct, I can connect to the remote desktop using them. I have forwarded ports 80, 3389, 443, 444, 1723 and 4125 to the server.

I have turned off the SSL access to the router to prevent the router using port 443.

Any clues?

Thanks!

It's possible that your ISP blocks incoming port 80 traffic so that you cannot run a webserver and that is blocking this as well.

Thanks, I actually have it working now.

I had disabled the port 443 in the router remote management, but it also needed a router re-boot.

However, I still get the red certificate error. I have no idea when it comes to certificates. My router has an area for trusted certificates?
