Set CPU in Command Promt?

I've been doing a little trixin and fixin with CMD lately just for the heck of it, and I've come across the "set number_of_processors=(number)" command.

I know you can change it temporary just by typing in a different number then the current, BUT, my question is... Is there a way to change it permanent to fool the system to make it seem like there are more CPU's then there really are? For example, if you have 2 cores, change it to 3, and for that to later be recognized in like CPU-Z or something similar?

I KNOW the performance doesn't increase, I'm just trying different things in CMD to learn as much as possible. And it would be pretty funny aswell. :)

Give it a try and see what happens. Chances are, cmd knows about how many cores the PC/LAPTOP already has on its motherboard and there is a high probability that if you try to fool it into thinking there are 3 when there's physically only two, CMD shouldn't allow the command to be action-ed.

I'm actually quiet curious about this now also, give it a try and let me know how you get on.
