Setting computer back to factory settings.

I am wanting to set my sony vaio laptop back to it's factory settings. Before I do that I want to make sure I have all the information that I would need, key numbers to microsoft office and other programs that require a key number or something else. I do not want to have to re-purchase any of them.

I am also curious about Backing up my computer and what all it saves.

belarc may display the serials you need, just understand they areattched to that pc so the products keys are only good for that machine. Run it and just scroll down until you find the product key information.

A backup is always advised as you can more quickly get your data back on your machine and not to mention if it ever fails you will be thankful if you make a system image. For backups I use ****** Todo Backup 6.5, you can get a free edition at.....
