So I just got my new laptop. It has vista home premium. I have a wireless router, with 2 other laptops connected to it.

I dont know where to look to hook a wireless router to the laptop.

Any hints?

Thanks

Saying.... Windows cannot find any networks.

if you mean you want to hard wire the laptop there should be a ethernet port on the back or side of your laptop but you can only do it your router has extra ethernet ports on the back and basically its plug in and your done.

You dont "hook" a laptop to a wireless router. Thats the point of it being wireless!

You go into the wireless network manager on your laptop, make sure the wireless card is enabled, and then search for an available wireless network.

When I said 'hook' i meant attach to a wireless network... Nothing literal...
And I am fluent with the term wireless.

And its working now.
I had to activate the switch, and connect it.

Thanks
