How can I go about setting up a dual CPU?
Can I have two processors on any motherboard that would accept it and it would work fine or do I have to configure it somehow?
I am thinking of either buying two Pentium D processors and setting them up as dual...or just getting another Celeron D and adding that my current Celeron on a motherboard that is capable of it.
Firstly, I can do dual Celeron right? I've seen it advertised before...
Now that leads me to the question: Can I have dual types of any processor?
...is there a way I can set one up as a master/slave or how does configuration go about with those? Are they like equally processing or...? Guess I'd compare it to like how you can set up two hard drives as either Raid 0 or Raid 1.
And finally, is it possible to set up two different kind of CPUs to run "dual-core"? Could I run one celeron and one pentium d so they'd work together?
Lemme know!
Thank you!
