Setting up a wireless router?

I just bought a linksys wireless router...how do I set it up? I have no instruction book I bought it used for $20.

Type the model into linksys website and download all the documentation and drivers and you should be set to go.

in a nutshell, the ethernet cable from your modem goes into the input on your router, and then a cable from the router goes back to your PC. the rest is done through software

what i do is find out how to access the routers home page on explorer then you have all the settings in there to change!

i never bother installing software from my isp, just get the information i need-account name and password-

if your gonna use wireless just make sure you enable the security so no one can snatch your connection

If youre looking to change settings, try (in your browser) 192.168.1.1
I think default for linksys is no username and password is admin
(what it was for both my linksys routers)

And as stated above, make sure you put a password on your wireless internet so no one "borrows" it
