setting up document viewer

ok so whenever i try to run certain aplications or programs it always starts preparing document viewer for installation....

this is gettin to be a problem

the document viewer tries to install, but for some reason it cant due to an invlaid directory or some file not exsisting....so i tell it to terminate, and the it immediatly trys to prepare document viewer for installation again...even tohug it will be unsuccessful

then its like a battle with popups and it really aggrevates me

especially today, i was trying to run my new scanner program, when while i am opening it document viewer tries to prepare itself for installation, not lettin me run my scanning program

so that pushed me over the edge and i came here to get some help

any suggestions ;)
 
ok update... the file that i am looking for does not exist, but yet it keeps lookin for it

so how do i tell it to stop lookin for teh file for good??
