Setting up Dual Monitors

Do you need specific software to run two moniors?
And, Do you need to have SLI running so you have another place to plug in the second monitor?

You just need a video card with dual inputs. Nothing special just 2 inputs and set it up following their instructions..

Even my ancient FX5200 that I used to have, had dual outputs. Most cards sold today even the budget low ended ones have dual output.

I used to have an FX5200 and it did have dual ouputs... are you saying your's doesnt?

so, then if you scroll the mouse off your program on one screen will it go to the desktop?

If so, wouldnt that get annoying as hell while playing a game? or make it impossible to scroll on maps in some games?
