Setting up high speed internet

Ive got a buddy that lives way out in the middle of no where.He cannot get DSL,Cable and does not get cell phone reception so wireless cards are out.

What are some reasonable alternatives to hi speed internet for a person like this?

Satellite Internet is the best option...It's pretty expensive and not as fast as DSL but if you want something that's definitely faster than 56K than I would suggest Satellite.

I agree, satellite is the best option. Im pretty sure you cannot play any online games with it, though.

its like 128k and its commonplace, at least in europe

If your mate want to checkout satellite internet tell him to visit some of the mobile phone shops most of them offer it.
