If you post a "please build me a pc" in the desktop computers sections I am sure you will get a much better response. You can post almost the exact same posting. Tell them how much you would like to spend though.

make sure you go opteron then

also you may want to look into some decent high end routers, a lot of them will handle the VOIP stuff

then just make sure you got the bandwidth

are you going to run windows 2k3 server?

For a OPEN SOURCE small business...

I would just build some custom servers with a mix of use parts and new parts,

i would build TWO servers as it is a lot better for reliabilty, and speed.

First server,
1GB ram
1 x 74GB SATA ( WD RAPTOR). FOR THE OS TO RUN ON )
3x 750GB SATA (ALL IN RAID 5 for redundancy and speed and space)
intel celeron D or AMD opteron
any compitable mobo..
a decent SATA raid controller for the 750 g hdds
RUN YOUR PREFERRED OS and configure it for:
DNS, DHCP, FILE SERVER, A NETWORK AUTH SYSTEM SUCH AS LDAP OR AD.

second server
1GB RAM
1x 74GB SATA (WD RAPTOR)
intel Celeron D or Opteron
any compatible mobo..
RUN YOUR PREFERRED OS and configure it for all your other services needed

this configuration is a balance between scalabiltiy, cost and speed.
The reason i recomendded the celeron d was because of the fact it is cheaper, and more suitable for servers than the athlon x2.

I think you cannot run two SBS Servers as Domain Controllers on the same domain. Keep this in mind if you want to use two severs.
Make sure you have a large system partition SBS server grows really fast.

Don't know about running a server off a Celeron, never tried it. All the servers we have here at my work run multiple xeon cpus. It depends on the load you put on the computer and how many users are accessing it.

I also do not know the specifics of SBS, but I know it has limits because they want you to purchase the full on enterprise server, that is how MS rolls.

Still, the OP has not fully explained what they will be using the server for, AD, SMS, email, etc. Depending on what the exact needs are will depend on what you want to go with. I still don't recommend going with celerons though, that would limit your growth.

We r talking small business here, and costt is a major issue, that is the main reason why the celeron d is ideal.

If you need more power go ahead and throw a better cpu in, but it will cost money.

I was not thinking two domain controllers, as i kno the limits of SBS 2003.

The first server for AD, DNS, DHCP and file server and MAYBE RRAS and the second for all the other services needed, the second server could be made more powerful if needed
