Setting up RAID2

So I'm building a computer for my web designer as a thank you for working on the site. He wants 2 500GB HDD's set up in RAID2. How do I go about doing this, as I've never done it before??

The OS I'll be using will be Vista Home Premium 64-bit.

Does the motherboard support it?

Well then, I suppose I'll be talking to my web designer to see if he wants another RAID.

What kind of array do they want. They have the choice with the two drives of redundancy or striping, I'm guessing for a professional they'd want RAID 1?

Get a 3rd HDD and run RAID 5.


Or configure both your HDD's to JBOD. It's better than RAID 0 (slower than RAID 0 but much safer) and RAID 1 is stupid.
