I have a intel motherboard and intel SSD drive. i read the info on the installation sticky. correct me if im wrong but i will format this in NTFS?
which program do i use. Dos?
And i checked the bios for this deal about ACHI. I didn't see it in there. Any guidelines for the intel motherboard? Its a excutive series DQ35J0. i just don't want to screw this up. still a little kid in me too.

i tried an did not install. Installed hd and tried ide and ACHI or what ever its called. The bios shows it and says 80 gig. after saving changes it boots the dvd xp pro and windows 7 pro. says cant install and need drivers. its a Intel X25-M sata SSD and motherboard is a DQ35J0. Any ideas whats going on? should have installed since both are Intel.
thanks

is it supposed to be in a certain port like 0? does any sata port work. like said its seen inbios but not windows to install.

Should be able to boot it as long as the drive controller with the SSD is set to AHCI and id assume there are drivers on the win7 cd to support your board...its old enough.
