ok..i fixed the problem so i can get into BIOS but the hard drive is still saying bootmgr is missing..and when i try to load a installation cd i get this..
setup did not find any hard disks drives installed on this computer...

Are you trying to run raid? if you are then you need the raid driver at the f6 prompt at the beginning of the install. Thats the message you usually get when raid is setup in bios and no driver. Or you could have a bad hard drive.
