Setup of Small Business Server

Hello,

I am a first time poster on this forum but have used it many times to solve some issues. I have to setup a server with small business server 03 and honestly I have not done this before and am looking for some pointers. I am familiar with everything that is entailed in the software but am not sure how to setup it correctly, for example; I know how to setup domain account and security groups but do not know how to setup the actual domain.. I know how to maintain exchange, but do not know how to setup the exchange portion from scratch..

Any pointers would be much appreciated. :)

its kind off difficult and hard to say via text.....You will need :

1. Computers (clients)
2. Computer (Server)
3. Switch / Hub (Switch is based on new technology)
4. Wires (U.T.P (Ethernet))
5. Client - Server software

I agree with xuniter. There really is a lot, and it's too much to describe in a couple of posts. Once you have all of the hardware, then you install windows 2003 onto you machine. Then you add the services you want. Most of the setup is all wizard based.

You may want to start, then post specific questions or problems.
