setup software raid?

Id like to setup raid on one of my computers, with two ide hard drives. Its in an emachines computer, so there is no hardware support. I realize win. xp pro has a way of doing this, but im using xp home. Is there a free raid software I can use to do this. Would probably use raid 0 or 1.

Maybe I can rephrase this. What Id like to do is have a second internal hard drive as a backup to my first, like using Raid 1, but maybe there is another way to do this?
