Setup VPN

Hello all

im just new intern in the company just started and recently got stucked with following issues "set up LAN with 3 computers/laptops VPN Setup so that user can access office system from outside".i have read many solutions given online but all them very confusing...
please guide in right direction. what should i do? and is there step by step tutorial given?

VPN will require you to grant the users access passed the firewall and into the network. Usually you would setup the VPN (typically PPTP) for each individual user. Basically you will need to add them into the firewall giving them a username and password.

Once this is done the users will have to create a VPN link on their PC/Laptop from outside of the network. Usually they would use the external IP address of the firewall/routers as a connection. Then use the username and password to grant them access into the network.

Now all above is very basic information and this just skims over the basics. If you are not sure I high recommend you get assistance from someone who knows more about VPN's because if it is incorrectly configured it could leave open a window for unwanted users.
