SFF Optiplex 790 low profile cards power requirement?

I recently bought an Optiplex 790 SFF, primarily for the size and I intend to use it for game design using unreal engine.

I was wondering, currently it has an AMD Radeon HD6450 1GB PCIe and I was looking to go for 2 or 4GB.

I have read that the 240w power supply is a problem, however I don't see power requirements readily specified on graphics cards.

If anyone has this computer, I'd appreciate your thoughts on the matter otherwise I'd appreciate any help in determining the appropriate card or best bang for my buck.

Also out of curiosity why do these cards seem to prefer DVI/HDMI not VGA? My monitor only has VGA and I wasn't able to get a DVI to VGA adapter from my local store so I'm using the onboard integrated graphics at the moment.

2gb of video memory is the highest will you be able to go with low profile card.

What specific card were you looking at ? RAM isn't the primary factor in determining GPU performance.

"Oh, I have a 4 GB video card" doesn't mean anything. There are 4 GB Geforce 730s that will get stomped by most other cards easily.
