Shader Model 1.1

Hi Everyone,
I have just got a splinter cell demo but when i go to run it it says i need the "Shader Model 1.1". 1st of all i dont know what a shader model is and 2nd of all how do i fix this?

What videocard are you running?

Minimal Configuration:

Graphics Card: DX 9.0 compatible card with Shader Model 1.1
GeForce 3 or higher, ATI Radeon 8500 or higher, 64 MB

I have a GeForce 4, and i'e never had this problem before with any other newish games, like NFSU2 doesnt have that problem and even older games like Sacred and games like CS dont have any problems.

If so it's a dead end.

Probably because those games don't use the shader.

I'd reccommend getting a new graphics card if you want to play it really badly.
