About a week and a half ago, I ordered a gig of RAM for my Toshiba laptop. It cost me like $70 bucks, but I figured it'd be worth it so I can do my work more efficiently.
A few days later, I get a call from a guy in NY saying he received my order, and sure enough, I got his ($15 order that I can't use). So I email laptopmemory.com, put in the necessary info, explained the situation, and no response for a few days. I wrote them again, and still no response. I tried calling them just now, and no one picks up the phone, even though I'm clearly in normal business hours for them.
They might just be at lunch, and maybe it's a small enough company that all (or both) of their employees are away from the office. But this place just reeks of indifference and incompetence. Has anyone else had experiences with them? What's the best thing I can do here? $70 is a good deal of money for me, especially for some laptop RAM, and there's no way I should have to pay extra or go through much hassle to get my order corrected.
Please share your advice, thanks...patience is running low.
