ship computer parts

if i was to bring computer parts i bought in the us to the uk how would i do it would i just keep it in the boxes they are and pad ait a huge ammount and just stick it in a bag or is there somehow like a extra fragile system you can use
 
you could but im not sure if it will get pass sercurity(like in the xray they see the motherboard and they'll think its a bomb) or a use Fedex or UPS to ship it to the uk.
 
You would have to declare it at customs if you import it yourself. And they may charge you a bit, depending on what you bring in. But you will almost certianly have to declare it.
 
would it get kinda damaged by the xray some how and would it work over here in teh uk i mean all the parts except for the psu
