shipping whole computer towers

at work i often had to ship computer to the mainland so... i was how to pack and ship them. i was sort of against the way they are doing it.

putting the tower with everything still inside: psu, mobo, video, ram, cpu, hdd etc

one inch foam on all side and fill with bubble wrap or peanuts :)

i thought this will increase the change of a dead hdd the rest of the hardware within the drive.

originally if i had to do this i would just ship the case and the hardware seperately.

so anyone that fequently sells computers online

do you do it that way or my way :)

Install all the pieces, wrap the tower in bubble wrap or use styrofoam, and put in a corrugated cardboard box.
The parts will be ok; they will not shake excessively and the box/wrap will protect it from damage.
No ned to ship parts seperately.
I have bought and sold many PCs this way.
Be sure to install all 4 screws in the drives;)
