Shockwave Problems

Hiya Forum Guys!

Been having a LOT of problems with ShockWave Player Installation.

Should I install the ADOBE Player or the MacroMedia One?

I have Adobe ShockWave Player V 10.1.3.18 but certain sites say I
need ShockWave 8. Surely the version I have will suffice!?

ANY help is MUCh appreciated.

Adobe is macromedia. Either version should work, but the newest vesrions are labled Adobe.

I have Version 10 installed, yet some sites can't use it.

Sounds to me like the site is so poorly coded that perhaps it references the name "Macromedia Flash Player", rather than the real calls of flash. I quite do not know what to tell you, as the page fails to load in my browser as well. (I have the latest Adobe versions). They are all the same, however.
