Shopping Cart Script

Hey all...

I'm currently making my Mum her business website, and was thinking about the shopping cart.

I was wondering whether you guys could hook me up with some respected shopping cart scripts?

I've come accross this one: http://www.nopdesign.com/freecart/index.html

It looks pretty decent, and allows you to have your products on different pages.

I'd rather not go through paypal, because their shopping cart takes you into their website, and I'd rather it stay in her website (as in the checkout and view cart).

So, yeah, any help with this would be great,

Thanks red onion, they look good.

The osCommerce looks good, but I don't see any examples where it is integrated into the actual website. It seems that osCommerce is a Website Script in itself.

If you could show me some websites where osCommerce is used like I have described, it would be useful.

As for ZenCart, I can't seem to find any examples of websites that are using their script...
 
Once OScommerce is installed, you can edit the look of the pages so that it matches the other pages of your website....These scripts are CMSs, like PHPNuke; they would be the framework of your site, with the shopping cart built in.

At the OScommerce site there are sample sites listed under Showcases...what exactly were you looking for?

I was just looking for something that allows me to add products to a cart, view that cart, and go to a "checkout" within the website.

As you said, osCommerce would be the framework of the website, and I dont really want to start changing the look of it from scratch.

I just want a shopping cart script, with checkout, that allows credit card transactions :D

So, I would place the script in each page I have products on, if you know what I mean... I don't want to start editing a whole new content management system to look like my own. Besides, I probably wouldn't know how to (not too good with PHP).
