Hey guys...new to the site...
im looking to get a gaming pc. I was looking at this but i wanted to get the price down to under 700, or even under 6. I want to be able to do a fair amount of multitasking. It doesn't need to be able to game extremely heavily, but i want something that has a good amount of power. I also would like to do moderate video editing. I would love to get about 4-5 years out of it. I think that i could build it, but i would only build it if it would be worth my time.

i'm guessing $700 usd, and if you want to game at all in 2-3 years from now you'll have to upgrade then or get something good now, but i'm guessing you'd rather get something better then, and what do you want in a game now, cuz if you want all the gaming you can get or just some decent gaming in a a medium or low res, that'll completely change your build specs. and when i looked at the setup more, i noticed this, that cpu is not worth it if you get a gpu too, especially if it's a geforce since it has an amd, eliminating its xfire thing, and it holds your upgradeability down, and you'd get alot more from a i3-2100 at a similar price, less actually

what, and be fairly exact, would be a fair amount of multitasking, this will decide between i3-2100 and phenom ii x4 955, might be 965, can't remember, and are you going to overclock, for an aftermarket cooler
 
 
ooh, yeah, good you noticed that, i forgot to check and was going off the 550 ti which i think needed 450 or 500, and if it needed more then idk what i was thinking, here's a better one.

and i didn't put a case in cuz that's more of a personal preference for the way it looks, and i think that it's required, unless you use an old computer case, but if you get a nice system you want it to look cool, i'm using an apevia vortex 3620, not the prettiest, but got it on sale for ~35 and its nice and big with tool-less drive bays, and they don't show it on newegg but the front fan lights up blue and everything, so i like it
