Short Power Cables

When I was first building my computer, which was about 3 months ago, a problem I had was that the power supply's cables were all too short. So instead of screwing in the power supply to where its supposed to go, I just have it deep inside my case, just so that the cables reach.

Two problems with that.
1. Theres just no way to manage my cables, its a mess inside of my case, no kidding.
2. Since my PSU was two fans(intake/outake) hot air is being blown inside of my comp; high temps.

So I was thinking of getting this:

Also, if I bought a 24 to 20 pin adapter, then a 20 to 24, would it cause instability to my system? Because that adapter alone may not extend it long enough.

However the CPU 4-pin will still not reach and I found this:

The problem right off is that 4 of the 24 wires are eliminated when going from a 24 not 20+4pin connector to an older board seeing only a 20pin power socket. If the board requires the extra 4 wires that won't work. What would work is a 24pin extension cable simply to add the extra length.

The second adapter is simply a molex to cpu type cable seeing the added length there and will work as long as you look to see if the yellow wire goes to the same pin as you would see with the standard 4wire 12v feed coming off of the supply. You don't to see wires crossed.

The alternative options are simply looking at replacing the supply or better even the case since that doesn't appear in the atx format where generally the harness has adequate length to start with. The supply should be mounted properly or even placed outside in event of a modded custom style to prevent heat from being thrown around on the inside to start with.
