shortcut keys in windows

I was wondering if there is a way to delete custom shortcut keys if I deleted the file already. I want to use ctrl + alt + F for an application, but it was already linked to a shortcut file that I deleted. Now when I try to use the shortcut key in a different file, it won't let me. Any suggestions?

you can assigin two different shortcut keys for one key combo. If you get rid of the file, it should get rid of the shortcut, or give you a "not found" message

Did you permanently delete the shortcut, or is it sitting in the Recycle Bin? Are you sure there isn't another copy of the shortcut somewhere else, like lost in the Start Menu?
