I got this 7900 the other day. When I got it the metal pci-e portion seemed damaged but I just bent it back and it fit.
(so I am going to return it later this week)
But I was just wondering if a 7900gtx ko should run bf2 of max everything and get no lag?

yes...
wut processor r u using?

if you have 2x512mb sticks that are dual channel and you put in the 256MB stick, it kills the dual channel, try taking out the 256MB and putting in the other 512MB into the opposing slot for dual channel

i think 1 1/4 will play at full grpahics with that video card and processor... even if it isn't dual-channel...

Edit: it will play about every game out now at full graphics... except idk about Quake 4, Olbivion, or COD2... i think u need dual-core to play those to the best...
but u could play those very well still...

Ku-sama is right, and running the memory in dual channel is basiclly having your RAM double as fast as having it in single channel like you have it now.

so I should take out the 256 and put in a 512?

How many RAM sticks do you have in your computer?

well, if you have 2 512s and a 256, take out the 256 and look in your mobo manual and see which slots are dual channel, it should be like:

Slot1A||Slot1B||Slot2A||Slot2B||

put the two 512 sticks into 1A and 2A

u don't NEED to it wil just help... but in answer to ur original question..,YES, it will play BF2 at full graphics...

Yes the card will handle any game at that resolution. But its kind of a waste with such a high end card running at such a low resolution, if you ask me.
