Should I be able to see individual pixels on my 2560 x 1440?

I bought an asus 2560 x 1440 27 inch monitor and I really like it but I can see individual pixels if I look close (~3 inches away) or if there is a diagonal line or circle I can see the pixels bumping up and down on the side of the object(even from far away) Is this normal for a high def monitor like mine? Also some things just don't look correct. I don't know if its just the media and not my screen. Is it just because I'm used to apple products?

You can always see individual pixels from very close except on a REALLY high res screen, even 4K I assume you could see individual pixels from 2 cm away. Nothing is wrong with your monitor. And I don't think any apple product has a higher res than 1440, what are you talking about am I used to apple products?

Ipad's retina screen is so much smaller the pixel density for 1440p is so small it is very difficult to see the pixels. IDK what the res would be, but if they wanted they should be able to make a 29" 3072x2304 which is close to 4k which i haven't seen in anything smaller than a 50" (but i dont look). And that's from the original ipad, which is 1024x768, a retina is 2048x1536, which would make a 29" 6144x4608, way better than the 3840x2160 "ultraHD" of 4k, actually it's pretty close to being an 8k 29".

As far as the jagged edge, go into CCC or nvidia's control panel and force full time AntiAliasing
