Hey guys.

as i mentioned in my last post http://www.computerforum.com/129284-help-i-dont-know-what-happening.html I took there advice and i have just got myself a new power supply
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HIGH-END-800W-Gaming-Silent-PSU-DUAL12V-RAIL-Warrty_W0QQitemZ270269464502QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item270269464502&_trkparms=72%3A1121|39%3A1|66%3A2|65%3A12|240%3A1308&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
And after searching with a low budget i bought this Video card: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MSI-8800GTX-8800-GTX-WATER-COOLED-SWIFTECH-GRAPHICS_W0QQitemZ270267642922QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item270267642922&_trkparms=72%3A1121|39%3A1|66%3A2|65%3A12|240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 (hence the reason its not available anymore lol)

I have gone and bought Crysis, Gears of war, Rainbow six vegas, Quake 4, doom 3 and Call of duty 4.

Should i bother putting these games on with my new hardware? will i get good fraps with it looking ok?

thanx:rolleyes:

with an 8800gtx u will get very good FPS on Gears of war, Rainbow six vegas, Quake 4, doom 3 and Call of duty 4 but crysis will crunch it too its knees also your cpu will bottleneck ur vidcard.

It won't bottleneck THAT much but to some extent. I would go ahead and try all those games out. Figure out what settings need to be applied to make it run well. CoD4 guaranteed will run great on your PC.

the 8800 gtx is still a monster, you should have no problem with all the games on high(except crysis depending on resolution)
