Should I buy a pc?

It's not practical to build a gaming PC that will last for several years playing the newest titles on maxed out settings. You're better off IMO buying a modest $1,500-$2,000 computer, then every 2 years or so upgrade the video card to keep up with new tech.

But isn't new games require higher ghz from your processor? Meaning I'll have to change my cpu as well?

A 6700K should last you at least through a couple of GPUs.

CPUs like the Sandy Bridge i5 and i7 are still viable for gaming and they're over 5 years old.

Most of your visual performance is dictated by the GPU.

What Beers said is correct. A high end CPU today will last you for many years, compared to a video card when it comes to gaming. CPU advancements have been pretty stagnant for a while now.
