It seems like a good one. But a monitor is a monitor, there really isn't a difference except for the sizes... maybe you'll get another couple years out of the more expensive ones, but otherwise they're all the same (to an extent).

except for dot pitch, refresh rates etc. and on lcd, response time

Personally I wouldn't thrust in that CTL monitor. The specs aren't detailed even at the manufacturer's website (http://www.ctlmonitors.com/v2/crt_monitor_spec.aspx?id=3&hdr=Products), so dunno what would be its refresh rate at max resolution. Besides, it looks like something assembled from restovers: Samsung tube, LG monitor-case (at least 7 years old design)...

you can get 19" crt's from local retail stores for about the same price, except there is no shipping charge, and you can see the monitor yourself.
