Should I delete IE and use firefox

I was jsut wondering a lot of people say that firefox is better than IE. if i use it as my primary internet browser should i delete IE or just hide the program from the desktop.
 
just hide it. and use IE for backup becuase sometimes you'll need IE like some websites only work on it and IE is better for webmaking like html and stuff.
 
Yes, there are certain internet security areas that require IE (ironically), so I keep it on just to log in to my class lists and other stuff that require my student ID...
 
Yes keep IE, Some Internet pages do not display correctly in firefox, Set firefox as your default browser thou and leave IE installed as you may need to use it sometime :) Most people just say firefox is better then IE as its more secure which isnt really true, just that more people use IE so its gets targeted more.
 
Keep IE. Windows and/or other programs occasionally use components of IE in their work. Just don't bother actually USING it!

I actually got sick of using firefox cause some websites wouldn't display correctly so I just stick with IE now, security issues or not
 
ohhh well i didnt know so and there is no reson to get rid of it
juss firefox is better

and fyi ie 7 will be like firefox but with a microsoft twist to it
like the bata of it it was alright but they needed to get the bugs out *and there were alot so*
